This mind

does not want to settle, no not today;
it wants to ask questions, of itself,
it wants answers that it already has,
it just does not want to settle today
in the certainty of a future it created,
it had rather rest on the cornerstone
of the unknown.

as between two lots
wondering which is better

Sitting on the hill with a friend
Looking down at the village
Made of grown people

Religion

Backroom dealings
In hospital corridors
With more than one God

Common

Man without drums
Still makes music

Some days

Some days he comes into the home at dawn
And we keep him through the day !
